The next generation of prosthetic socks is here today! The Angel Sock is a unique patented hybrid textile sock featuring both natural and man-made fibers. The interior combines X-Static® Silver for natural anti-microbial protection with Coolmax® for wicking and breathability.
The X-Static® Silver fibers provide natural anti-microbial protection, inhibiting the growth of odor causing bacteria and fungus. The Coolmax® fibers wick moisture away from the skin to keep the wearer dry and comfortable. Coolmax® also breathes to keep the wearer cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
The Angel Sock is an exceptional choice for wearers who may have problems with excess perspiration or odors. The combination of X-Static® Silver and Coolmax® allow the Angel sock to perform as if it had a built-in moisture management system. The sandwiched layer Comforgel, which is a medical grade gel, makes the Angel a very good choice when the wearer may have a bony prominence. The rugged outer shell of nylon and cotton stretch fabric, along with the reinforced distal end, provide durability for even the toughest of wearers. The exceptional stretch in both directions will easily conform to irregular shapes.
